Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour — full refund, no questions asked.
Cancel less than 24 hours before the tour, or don't show up, and the booking is non-refundable — the operator has already reserved your spot, boat, vehicle or guide.
Full Moon Party is the one exception.
Full Moon Party bookings are non-refundable and cannot be cancelled — at any time, for any reason. There is no free-cancellation window for this product. Please be certain before you book.
How to cancel or change your booking
Email info@kohtrip.com, use Live Chat, or reply to your booking confirmation. Include your booking reference, full name, tour name and tour date so we can find your reservation quickly.
Date/time changes requested within the free-cancellation window are free, subject to availability. Changes requested after the deadline are treated as a late cancellation.
Refund process
Refunds go to the original payment method, initiated within 1-2 business days of confirming the cancellation; bank processing typically takes 5-10 business days. All prices and refunds are in Thai Baht (THB) — exchange-rate differences between purchase and refund are outside our control.
Book early
There is no fixed booking period: book as early as you can to secure your spot. Koh Samui tours fill up easily, even in low season.
Weather & safety cancellations
If our captain decides the sea or weather makes the tour unsafe, you are offered a reschedule to another available date or a full refund — zero penalty. This guarantee applies only to cancellations we make for weather or safety; it does not extend the window above for changes you request yourself. Light rain or mild wind alone does not normally cancel a tour.
No-shows & late arrivals
Not appearing at the confirmed pickup point without contacting us in advance is a no-show, charged in full. Shared tours and boats cannot wait for a late arrival without affecting other guests; private charters have more flexibility but an extended delay may shorten the tour without a price adjustment.
National park & entrance fees
Some tours (Ang Thong Marine Park, Koh Nang Yuan) include an entrance fee paid directly to the park or island authority on arrival. These fees are not collected by KohTrip — if you cancel, any fee already paid on-site must be claimed from the authority that collected it.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance covering activity cancellations, medical costs and emergency evacuation. Certain high-risk activities (e.g. Enduro Dirt Bike) require guests to carry their own insurance covering motorised sports.
